A postpartum doula offers crucial support during the first three months after childbirth. You can hire a doula during pregnancy or after your baby’s birth. Many parents realize they need help only once the baby arrives and things get overwhelming. A postpartum doula provides caring guidance and practical help to ease this challenging time. Contact me to schedule care before delivery or within three months postpartum. If you come to the realization that increase support is needed after three months, please don’t hesitate to reach out for my services.

Postpartum doulas provide comprehensive support that extends beyond newborn care to nurture the entire family. Unlike caregivers who focus only on the baby, postpartum doulas offer holistic assistance, including education on postpartum recovery and newborn care. With a postpartum doula, especially one with experience as a former Mother/Baby nurse and Certified Lactation Consultant, you gain expert guidance in both infant care and maternal healing. Beyond caring for your newborn, postpartum doulas help with household tasks like laundry, dishwashing, meal preparation, tidying, and organizing. This valuable support reduces parental stress and helps establish a smoother daily routine, allowing families to focus on bonding with their baby. I customize my newborn care to meet your family’s unique needs while prioritizing the mother’s physical and emotional recovery, feeding support, and overall adjustment during the postpartum period.

I am a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), but as a doula, I provide physical, informational, and emotional support, not medical care or advice. I help new families with postpartum comfort based on your OB’s guidance. I offer newborn care advice following your pediatrician and American Academy of Pediatrics standards. I am trained to spot abnormal postpartum or newborn issues and will refer you to medical professionals when needed. My nursing background and experience supporting mothers and newborns help me understand health concerns and ensure timely referrals to the right providers.

I provide postpartum support services only and do not offer birth doula services. If you are looking to hire a birth doula, I would be happy to refer you to some experienced and trusted birth doula colleagues.

As a devoted postpartum doula, my mission is to empower parents with confidence as they embrace their new roles, while fostering strong family connections through attentive care for both baby and parent. I am pleased to provide comprehensive newborn support, giving you the freedom to rest, focus on self-care, or enjoy meaningful time with your other children.
